Hi, I’m new to CC and I found that there’s so much useful info here. Nice to meet you all.
I’m finally in the college admission process, and with that also comes scholarships. I was nominated by my counselor for the Posse Foundation scholarship. I already have my first interview date and I finished my online application. It asked which schools I was interested out of the schools they were offering for Los Angeles scholars and so I chose UC Berkeley and Northwestern for the time being. I was wondering if the folks at CC knew: Which of Posse’s partner schools for LA has the best music program? More specifically, not just classical performance, but I am interested in a program that can offer things like music production, music technology, and music business, as well as the regular ol’ theory and composition stuff. I find that when I look at colleges’ music programs, it is very focused on classical music performance and education but I can’t really find out if they have good programs for what I mentioned above. So if anyone can offer some advice, it would be lots of help!
