<p>my school has a commonroom for juniors and seniors but not for any of the other grades.
does anybody’s school have a commonroom?</p>
<p>^ Ours is called the ‘sixth form’ common room, but only Y13s get to use it. The classes of 2010 and '11 got a pretty bum deal because they converted the old common room into an IT room and the construction of the new one was SUPER delayed. The Y13s got to use it for a couple of months and we move in when they finish their IB exams. I’ve taken a look inside though and it’s really pretty. Plus it’s apparently extremely conducive to sleeping. Now I know what my free periods are going to be like from next month on…!</p>
<p>^^ Yup, we have two actually, one for juniors and one for seniors. Junior Common Room is really just a kitchenette and some couches and a radio, perfectly fine for chilling in and grabbing a snack but not much else. Senior Common Room is similar but it has a full kitchen and a TV with basic cable and a Gamecube (which as far as we are concerned is a machine that lets us play Super Smash Bros.)</p>
<p>^^^ We have 2 commons for all grades on the 3rd and 4th floor (where the high school is located).</p>
<p>Seniors got their own “senior hangout” this year, and somebody brought a Wii for it. A WII!!! I am so jealous! :P</p>
<p>…They had to debate whether we should be allowed to have food in our common room. I kind of understand their concern though, because the old common room got completely trashed all the time.</p>
