^Lol…I was planning on doing all my homework for the week, but that never worked out.

Looking into Buddhism.

Not as my religion, but more of a lifestyle.

^ My paternal grandmother is Buddhist, she used to go to the temple places back when she was healthy. According to my dad, the reason my aunt is Christian is because she was looking into religions other than what my grandmother inforced into her.
I think a Buddhist way is particularly good if you are in need of becoming less materialistic and in peace with the world and yourself (which is what I need, haha).

I am fond of the color blue. :)

Blue is an intriguing color.

I think so too. It contributes much to nature. As does green, but I find blue preferable.

^^^^^ You should definitely look into it (not necessarily as a religion), but maybe adopting a more Eastern way of thinking. We studied a lot religions/cultures this year in my Literature class (best class EVER), Eastern philosophy is usually one of the more popular ones. A lot people seem to love it.

Oh, I forgot to mention - you might want to check out Zen Buddhism. The great thing about Zen Buddhism is that it’s not a religion - just a philosophical approach.

I could go on and on about this lol haha, but Eastern philosophy is awesome.

I can’t really describe how depressing I find this, but my father has chosen a path in life for me. I don’t know why, but I find it incredibly hurtful.

How so? What path?

How does it hurt you?

^He wants me to write.

I don’t know how it’s hurtful. I mean, I probably could say it if I were in the mood to, were writing an essay. It seems, above all, inconsiderate to my siblings whose futures he has never cared about with that level of specificity. Besides that, I suppose you would have to know my father. Physically alone, he looms large, especially in comparison to me. And emotionally, it’s crazy. I feel like the mere expression of his ideas about my future is forcefully oppressive.
Like, his expression of the idea, though entirely positive, always sounds to me more like he thinks I will fail anywhere else, or that he thinks for me to do anything else would be a betrayal of either him or of my nature.
He’s just a disturbingly objective guy. Also, I don’t like him in the first place.

Oh. I am sorry. That sounds quite unfortunate. :/

^^ I’m sorry D: That’s not good.

Zen Buddhism sounds like a better fit, thanks!
I’m not looking to convert to Buddhism, because I like my religion (Jewish!)
I just seem to like the lifestyle of Zen Buddhism, I suppose. I must look into it :)

Watching QI… Should be doing work, but QI is just to interested and funny!

Just got baffled by the AP World MC, but pwned 2 of the essays and bs’d the other one. LoL.

I acknowledged that I was going to fail once I came to the FRQ’s. I attempted a few and then just left. Part II is still to come.

Correction to my previous post: “QI is just too interesting and funny”

^ whats QI?

Oh, poor Wartsy.

I was really, really happy with the WH exam. My teacher is absolutely awful and I had never felt less prepared for any major evaluation. And then, it was just as easy as the Subject test (which I took before I was in WH). Like, it was all stuff that I had learned in 7th grade general history, 9th grade modern history, and 11th grade AP Art History.

TYiL: I haven’t seen you in forevs <3.

^^ A British TV Show, it’s about Quite Interesting (hence QI) random trivia. Quite a few of the episodes are on Youtube, I don’t think I’m allowed to post the link though…

^ Haha, Millancad I haven’t seen you in ages either. I’ve just been super busy, the volcano stranded me in the US and so when I got back I’ve had heaps and heaps of work to do on coursework, senior projects and my second senior concert… Now a lot of that stuff is over with so I’ve been on CC more!
