Guest coming to my house soon…!

Do you have any free time w/ IB? or would it be more worth it to do AP paired with sports, ECS, comm. service, etc?

difference?: HL +SL

^ HL is harder. IB system is good if you are a well rounded sort of chap, but can be awful if you find yourself to excel in either sciences or humanities and are not as good i the other.

Ok, IB really is just time management. I have IB friends who play sports, lively in ECS, and head community service projects.

HL - Higher Level. Go into Further depth and subject matter than a lot of classes. HL Math is considered the hardest. 2 Year

SL- Standard Level, Not as rigorous, but still in general are tough. Except for SL math, these are 1 year.

^^ Exactly what TYIL said.

Except Now to get my CS + engineering concentration to the dismay of my IB Coordinator, I have to take CS SL and Physics I. Then I have to take CS HL, which you would give me 5 HLs, and Physics SL, along with my other 4 HLs, which is 6. I said goodbye to diploma months ago.

You forgot CAS and EE and TOK. TYIL - are you an IBer as well?

^ No I am doing A-Levels and Pre-Us. I’d hate to be an IBer as I am not what one might call an “all-rounder”

^^^ I think the one-year, two-year thing depends on what school you go to. I think American schools tend to go SL one year, HL two years, while international schools do both for two years. And I thought you could take as many HLs as you want?

If you do the full Diploma, as opposed to individual certificates, then I think you can only humanly take max 4 HLs. The Diploma goes over two years and includes:

CAS - creativity, action and service (basically compulsory ECs - good for those of us applying to the US!)
Extended Essay - a loong paper
Theory of Knowledge - an epistemology course which can be wonderfully stimulating or dead boring depending on the teacher. Guess which kind of teacher I go. -.-

HSL is distracting me a LOT.

I haven’t studied at ALL today. :/

^ SAME!! Oh God there has never been an exam for which I have studied less and this is THE most important set of exams!!! Oh God, please be on my side just this once…

I KNOW!!!

Ugh this is like 20% of my trimester grade… I NEED to boost my grade in math!!! gotta keep my grade up in spanish…! ahh!

please… why did i have to think of the blog now… not in a week…!

My predicted grades for my uni acceptances depend on this!!! Im going to go to pray :(

^ HA! Thank you American Higher Education for your non-conditional offers!

^^ GOOD LUCK!

bye

Thanks, good luck to everyone else as well. ^^ That’s why I like the US system

Great. Now I have to put on my pants because I have guests coming over.

I’ve decided that I’m too lazy for IB thanks lol, I’ll stick w/ honors/AP

^. Eh, you don’t wear pants around your house?

^^sans pants? o.O …understandable.

EDIT: I’m just kidding lol. I was wearing shorts…
