<p>You know how sometimes you listen to a song or piece of music and you just sit there watching the visualizer of your media player or you just sit with your eyes shut, and you’re kind of half-asleep and just mired in the music and your thoughts? It takes a special song to do that. I haven’t had one of those moments in a long time. It just reminds me that there’s so much good in the world. I still feel like I’m kind of in a trance right now.</p>

<p>My mom brought me a frangipani from the road. I love frangipanis as they remind me of my home with my grandparents (they bloom there). I was so touched that she got it for me. Who else is already crying thinking of leaving home?</p>
