<p>What happens if you have “Asian” interests and are Asian, by coincidence?
It just so happens that I play tennis competitively, play the piano and guitar, interested is songwriting, and pretty bright (A’s and A+'s). Which, is what I’ve read, all of those are pretty “Asian”.</p>
<p>I know being an ORM doesn’t help… but I think the interests go with the culture than what you’re ethnicity is… (most of the time, culture matches your ethnicity but not this time…!) =P</p>
<p>So should I stop putting Asian as my ethnicity on official academic things, because I don’t think it “labels” me correctly? Or put Asian, because I am really 100% Asian?</p>
<p>Do I even make sense? :P</p>
<p>And is anyone else adopted? What did you do about this? xD</p>
