<p>I think that it’s just the initial shock one receives upon joining this site that leads one to build up high expectations. I experienced it too. In the end though, I acknowledged that I’d rather attend a LAC that emphasizes collaborative learning (as opposed to competitive) and intimacy. </p>

I would check my email, facebook, livejournal, some news sites, and then CC.
