New York City public transit is awful. Generally, I put up with a lot from the MTA, but this time, they’ve just taken it too far.

The subway was so packed that individuals could not move about without feeling as if they were engaging in an erotic dance. Armpit cheese dangled in front of my poor eyes as my nostrils were assaulted by a pungent scent that pervaded my personal space. There was no one who did not have their toes trampled. And worst of all, the subway cars kept lurching while we were packed in like sardines. I’ve had bad subway experiences, but this one took the cake.

And then there was the bus ride afterward! Dear God, the bus did not come for 45 minutes! Waiting for three quarters of an hour under the merciless afternoon sun just because the idiotic bus driver felt like going to McDonalds is enough to give anyone an apoplexy. I think I lost 50% of the water in my body from that wait.

When I pay $2.25, I expect better service. MTA, step up your game.

/endrant

The NYC subways were awful! I thought the buses were great though— I’ve only been on one twice in my life, and both times the bus actually came on time.

I don’t actually mind the subway in NYC. We tried to go to things when it wasn’t crowded… so that may have been the reason :P

I love DC’s subways! So neat and clean!

^^^ Yeah, apparently the subways were really backed up today. I took it at around 11:30 this morning, then stayed on campus all day, so I didn’t personally have any problems, but I heard from a couple of people that it was awful.

God, I just want to be alone right now.

haha i’m so glad i found this site http://www.ironhymen.com/

^^hey hannah, that’s not really hilarious… you know what’s really hilarious?

I’m so tired. I haven’t worked so hard since school ended D:

I went running yesterday…and at about mile 3 I still had a lot of energy in me. I was so pumped for running atleast 5 miles. However, then a frog jumped at me and I almost had a panic attack. I ran down the trail…took a couple of breaths but then it took me a while to get back down the trail and home, because I was freaking out!

I ran exactly 5 miles when I could have done more, but the frog has me all paranoid. I ran on the treadmill this morning…no fresh air :/

Also, I have a friend who makes me feel strange when I talk to her about guys. I feel like she’s going to judge or something…she just…she does not possess hormones or something…like…either that or she hides them realllyy well…I made her sing girls just wanna have fun yesterday and then state that she had hormones, but she is still…sooo inoccent. I consider myself inoccent as I am a virgin, but she is UBER inoccent. meh.

^You spell innocent like a champ. Gym today ftw.

So tired.
Can’t wait for this weekend!

Gah, was on a gym lark for two and a half weeks, but I didn’t go last night and I have a dinner to go to tonight. Sighighigh.

What is 2 to the power of 1/2?

This is me :(. My friends all alternately try to freak me out and make sure I’m not totally disgusted when they… discuss less innocent subjects.
