I will be graduating this year with a B.A in History of Art and architecture from a US school with a cumulative GPA of 3.14 and a major GPA of 3.8. I’m looking into University of Edinburgh for Architectural History but I see they require a minimum of 3.25 GPA. Is it worth it to apply if I am not within their minimum requirements?
They have rolling admissions however, I am applying for 2018.
E-mail and ask.
Yes. Your major GPA - which is more relevant - is high.
When you write your statement of purpose be sure to show a good understanding of how the work you have done links to their program (which means studying everything you can find on the program thoroughly). If you have done anything beyond the classroom, be sure to focus on how that informs your choice of this course and where you see yourself going after the course.
