Postseason Baseball 2012 anyone?

heyalb- at least last night’s NYY game had the correct ending to justify my lack of sleep headache this am!

One more game tonite, I believe they can clinch it. I do love my old Yankees players.
Although Derek is not playing like the old man he is.

Wow am I not sleepy anymore!
It took the Yankees over 4 hours tonite to beat Boston 4-3 in extra innings.
Raul Ibanez hit the two run homer in the bottom of the ninth to keep the Yankees in the game and then the little single to win it in the 12th(?).

One more game to go in the regular season. Can’t remember when so many races went down to the wire like this.

Anyone else finding it hard to turn the game off?

I’m an Oakland fan.

Not that one. My Rangers are not making it easy. Wish they weren’t playing on the West Coast. yawn

Between the Oakland A’s and the SF Giants, post season in Bay Area should be awesome!

Hoping for a Nats/Orioles Beltway series here!

All playoff teams are determined. However, all of the AL teams except Detroit will be playing for division titles versus wild card positioning. In the NL, Washington and Cincinnati will be playing for first versus second seed.

musicmom, I’m averaging 3 hours of sleep a night since the weekend. Go NYY!!!

Cardinals going for 12 in '12! :)

Chicagoan here. 'nuff said.

At least I have English and Spanish soccer to follow.

I am an eternal optimist. My Pirates will be in the playoffs next year. Andrew McCutcheon will win the batting title and be MVP and James Macdonald will win the Cy Young. Or maybe we will continue our record for the longest losing record of ANY major sports team. Win or lose, I love my Pirates!

My only interest in postseason baseball is waiting to see if R.A. Dickey wins the Cy Young award. Since DH is a Yankee fan, baseball wil be alive and well in my house for awhile…maybe.

Me too! :D

After seeing the movie Knuckleball, I’ve become an R.A. Dickey fan too. I hope he gets the Cy Young award. My team (Red Sox) is out. My H loves baseball, so we’ll be watching the post season no matter which team is in it.

My Tigers made it. For the amount of talent we have on the team, it should not have been a nailbiter. I am one of those who firmly believes Leyland needs to go.

Now that I don’t have any hockey to watch on TV, and the Lions are painful to watch, baseball post season it is!

Go Nats! I believe the win today gives them home field advantage :)

I’m rooting for the Orioles this fall since I grew up in Baltimore.

I’d like to smack the Red Sux for blowing a 2 run lead in the bottom of the 9th, making it much more difficult for them to win the division.

We’ve got Nattitude here!

Another Nats fan bursting with pride and anticipation!

And good luck to the O’s, too…we’re glad you were there during DC’s long baseball drought.

I wish. Fond memories of '92 and '93.

Not even any hockey to watch.
