Look, I know the odds. Which is why I never buy more than ONE ticket. Which buys me so much fun and fantasy it’s well worth the piddly price I pay for it.
If I win, I can’t promise you all houses. But a group CC vacation at an upscale all-inclusive somewhere warm, beachy and exotic… that we can discuss.
@scmom12 You’re welcome. I funded your daughter’s college education, and am currently funding my son’s. And while we’re fantasizing , I’d quit my job, become a guardian at litem for at risk senior citizens and open a boarding house for retired veterans.
ONe of the ‘little’ prizes? My daughter was telling me how much each combo earns, and unless you win 4 numbers + PB ($50k) or the five white ball numbers ($1M) the other prizes are nothing! $4, $7, $100. For 4 numbers, you get $100! Cheapos. I thought for 4 numbers you’d at least get $5000.
I also bought a state Lotto ticket, so I’d be happy if I just won the $2.6 million.
$277 million was spent on tickets Friday. They predicted around $400 million would be spent on Saturday. Nobody won. The odds are not a “dream.” They’re nothing. Ack, it drives me crazy. I know, it shouldn’t bother me what other people do, but I hate it that so many poor people waste their money on this.
