Powerball!

Look, I know the odds. Which is why I never buy more than ONE ticket. Which buys me so much fun and fantasy it’s well worth the piddly price I pay for it.

If I win, I can’t promise you all houses. But a group CC vacation at an upscale all-inclusive somewhere warm, beachy and exotic… that we can discuss.

When I win tonight, these are the first things I plan to do:

  1. SIGN THE BACK OF THE TICKET ASAP (The signature points to the legal owner of the ticket).
  2. Lock up the ticket in a safe place and do not lose it.
  3. Don’t tell anyone!

Can I electronically claim the prize? Can a scanned copy of the ticket with signature serve as proof?

“Don’t tell anyone!”
I have to tell my DW. Otherwise she will divorce me to take one half.

@scmom12 You’re welcome. I funded your daughter’s college education, and am currently funding my son’s. And while we’re fantasizing , I’d quit my job, become a guardian at litem for at risk senior citizens and open a boarding house for retired veterans.

Ready? 12 minutes to go.

I hope you appreciate the last six minutes until I win.

ONe of the ‘little’ prizes? My daughter was telling me how much each combo earns, and unless you win 4 numbers + PB ($50k) or the five white ball numbers ($1M) the other prizes are nothing! $4, $7, $100. For 4 numbers, you get $100! Cheapos. I thought for 4 numbers you’d at least get $5000.

I also bought a state Lotto ticket, so I’d be happy if I just won the $2.6 million.

Oh well.

I will not check my ticket to keep my hope going on.

I won!!

Four bucks, got one number and the powerball number, what should I do with my fortune?

^ You should press your luck further with 2 more tickets for the next draw.

You’re a bad, bad influence coolweather. I’ll do it! And it’s your fault!

No winner. Next projected to be 1.3 billion.

I guess I’m buying a ticket before Wednesday…

Is a ticket for the 1.3 billion chance one of those splurges that is worth it? - or not worth it???

I won $7!

$277 million was spent on tickets Friday. They predicted around $400 million would be spent on Saturday. Nobody won. The odds are not a “dream.” They’re nothing. Ack, it drives me crazy. I know, it shouldn’t bother me what other people do, but I hate it that so many poor people waste their money on this.

How much do tickets cost? $1 or $2? If that many people bought tix and no one won… good grief.

$2/ticket

We spent $6 on 3 tickets and won $7.

Profit!
