Most surprising for me is Randolph-Macon College: isn't that a women's college? And isn't it associated with a military boarding school? It's possible I'm thinking of the wrong college, of course.

Randolph-Macon College in Ashland is a coed college.

Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal is a coed military prep school.

Randolph-Macon Women's College was a single-sex college. It was renamed Randolph College and is now coed starting this AY.

Am I the only one who hurried through this list twice to make sure Alma Mater wasn't on it?>>

My Alma Mater IS on the list:) No surprise there. It is in a very rural area of the state where the major thing to do is hit the bars and party. It's not a major metro area...and the nearest major metro area is about 1 1/2 hours away. Now having said that...I will say that I think most schools are party schools.

Wazzu didn't even make the list--they are slipping in Pullman.
I didn't expect to see my alma mater, but I DID scan to make sure DD's school wasn't there!

I'm sorry to see that San Diego State has slipped off the list, because a colleague at work went undergrad to SDSU and to grad school at UCSB - she used to be a California party school double.
