Can anyone tell me about the pros and cons of the two subjects above?
I’m trying to choose between UVA and Cornell, and so I’m attempting to get a better picture of each school.
The Pre-Med Advising offered at UVA is very strong. The office does a great job of helping students of all level of preparation, be it those with extensive plans and those with no clue where to begin. Pre-Med is also a tract at UVA, meaning you could still major in something in the humanities if you wished as long as you filled the necessary requirements (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, etc.). As for research, there are many opportunities to get involved, and professors are very receptive to students approaching them with a desire to do research.
