As promised almost 18 months ago….The Holdovers movie is coming out in October or November. Look for scenes filmed at Deerfield, NMH, and St Marks…It’s based on a Deerfield story….and the young man playing the lead student in it was a 2022 graduate from Deerfield.
The trailer is in theaters now.

Ha ha. I was about to make the same comment. I was on the swim team with Paul Giamatti way back when. I still haven’t recovered from witnessing him in a speedo on a daily basis. 
He was an incredibly brilliant, talented, funny and all around great human being even back then.

Such an excellent movie. Went with DD23 (DA grad), it was fun to see Deerfield and her classmates on the big screen.

Spouse is a Deerfield alum, and our family watched the movie of break and loved it. All of ours looked at Deerfield but only one of ours applied and chose a rival. 
But we all found it fun to see the beautiful Deerfield campus in the movie. Nice to hear the other schools represented—one child has played these other schools so if we have the opportunity to go to games there again we’ll have to take a look.
