I’m junior in high school scheduled to take the US History AP in May which is approaching and making me very nervous. My teacher really stresses the importance of studying for hours a day and even suggests that getting little sleep is a good sign of hard work; but I can’t help but doubt the necessity of hours of studying and few hours of sleep, especially when I have other AP’s and SAT’s to study for. I think her perspective as a teacher makes her inevitably biased. I’d like to see the thoughts and reflections of students who have taken the exam and how much effort you think is really necessary to get a 4 or a 5. Thanks in advance.
