I’m in a bit of a predicament. I can either choose to run for the treasurer of my high school MUN club, or I can run for the secretariat for the middle school conference, which hosts around 300 students, that my high school runs. Which one do you think is more prestigious? I really like MUN; therefore, I’m happy with either.
Which one requires the most work/commitment?
the secretariat? like the horse?
The secretariat requires a lot more work/commitment. The secretariat is the group of 3 people who are in charge of making sure the conference runs smoothly, training the staff, and negotiating with advisors.
If you like both positions equally, I’d recommend taking that one because colleges care less about titles and more about what you’ve actually done for the organization.
