I applied to Princeton RD and I also do not have midterm grades on my checklist. I assumed that Princeton does not track the information on the portal.

The midterm grades are not showing on my sonâs portal either. But, his school portal shows that the grades have been sent. I wouldnât worry.
In my daughterâs case, the Princeton never asked for midterm report, and the portal specifically said that the application is completed and nothing else is needed. Her counselor advised that in that case it is not necessary to send the midterm report. May be it is a reject.
My D24âs school sent the midyear transcript anyway. She also uploaded her own midyear portfolio and activity updates. Not sure if these things help or not⊠lol.
Did the portal say your application is complete (in green)?
On another note, some people (including alumni) say Princeton is tight on giving students good grades in todayâs world of grade inflation, and they have negative views on this because it might affect the studentsâ job and/or grad school applications. What are the opinions here?
Yes, but they allow you to upload whatever updates you think that might help.

Arguably, itâs the best or one of the best Ivy League colleges. Princeton undergrad is a hot cookie on the job market.
