Our school described that, in the general info section describing themselves to Princeton, they check some box to say that they do not have midterm reporting rituals, but will form mid term grades so to respond to Princeton’s specific request. That is, Princeton knows that (1) our school does not produce or send out mid term grade as a general practice, and (2) our teachers will specifically grade for the purpose of answering Princeton’s request if receiving such. So, whether Princeton will ASK for mid term is related to their knowledge of the high school. They don’t ask of the schools who proactively report; they don’t ask if they know the school won’t produce one. Our counsellor said that being asked for mid term is a good sign for Non-Reject. That’s it. It is not statistically significant in predicting between Admit or Deferral.
I did not get a Q1 request but my Q1 grades have been submitted in the CommonApp since october, just wanted to make sure that they wouldnt request one if its already uploaded?

Does any International student have the “school report” downloaded again in December? I saw in common Apps that my “school report” was downloaded again on December 3rd (this week), previously it was downloaded on November 2nd. Is this a good sign?
No, but I do believe I had another document labeled “Application” pop up in my admissions portal that wasn’t previously there

Yes that’s exactly how mine is. Maybe it’s something they add before decisions come out regardless of accepted or not

Thanks, on a side note the downloaded date in commonapp is the day they first downloaded it and it has not changed since, unlike some international applicants in this thread, so I hope that is insignificant as well 
Princeton just confirmed they’re releasing decisions this Thursday after 7:00 PM ET through email.
Will Princeton send any notification to students regarding to their decision through gmails (likely letters) before the official result comes out?

So December 12th will be a big surprise for everyone, even the students who got accepted will have absolutely no idea before they click the Status update in their portal. (Sorry if I’m sounding a bit awkward, it’s my first time applying to college)
