I’m considering applying for an internship in India and I will be coming from Princeton. I’m wondering about how its regarded…I know Berkeley is viewed as very prestigious in India, but I turned down the Berkeley Regent’s Scholarship to come to Princeton. Do the most reputable Indian companies know that Princeton is one of the best schools in the US?

Yea, don’t worry about that. However, just in case, specify that its an Ivy League in your resume.

People in India who know about American universities do recognize Princeton as one of the best if not the best.

Princeton is certainly well respected in India and everywhere else where people are well educated.

Not the best, but definitely one of the best.

Princeton is definitely well known in most of the MNC’s in India. The people working in such companies come from a global community as well.

Princeton is really well known.

Even if the interviewer doesn’t know about Princeton I’m assuming that he will Google it or something and then learn about it’s reputation :|

Really, really well known. Don’t forget to emphasize its IVY LEAGUE. People love those two words, they’re the most popular to do with US colleges etc
