"prison bars" and lock over a user's avatar

For days now, a particular thread says so-and-so was the last person to post (on Dec. 13), but when I visit the most recent posts, the last posting date days 12-4. So finally I clicked on the username (as the last poster next to the thread title), but clicking on it brought me to his/her profile page with white “bars” and a lock over the avatar.

I can’t find on the forum what that means. Please advise. Thank you.

whoops. I meant “posting date says…” not “days”

I think this thread explains it.

It means his post on that date was deleted by a moderator. The bars mean a warning.
