Products you've recently discovered that you can't now live without

I’ll start:
SHOUT Color Catcher (just put a mixed dark load in and a white sock by mistake. Sock’s white as new)

De-Solv-It Citrus gets out on laundry what Oxi gel and all the others won’t and its biodegradeable.

My Ipad. I didn’t think I really needed one, but now that I have it I love it!

Same, hops! Now I’m downloading books and never thought I’d read a book that way. Love it for travel, too, where I can watch HBO go or read without lugging my hardcovers around.

Dropbox.com. has changed my professional and writing lives! Any document I write on any of three computers I’ve linked to it is automatically added to the other two, plus preserved in the ether to be reached from any computer.

Has made keeping track of documents and revisions a zillion times easier.

I love Dropbox, too!

Another on-line item I adore is Workflowy at workflowy.com Like Dropbox, you can sign in from any computer and it will synch.

It is a way to stay organized. You have outlines that expand and collapse. I’ve known students who use it to outline papers.

You can share them with other people. A friend with a small business uses it to coordinate employees.

Besides having different lists, you can cut and paste in longer bits of text.

Check out their little video. It really is helpful.

I second those SHOUT Color Catcher’s.

My Dutch Oven is my favorite new kitchen addition. I always heard that they were great and I can’t even explain how it makes a difference but it does. I use it all the time as my first go to pot.

This cream from Origins - adjusts to your skin tone and gives you just a hint of color while moisturizing and offering sunscreen protection. I’m not one for makeup, and use this as foundation. A friend introduced me to it 3 years ago, and I haven’t gone without it since.

[Origins VitaZing™ SPF 15 Energy-Boosting Moisturizer with Mangosteen: Moisturizer | Sephora](http://www.sephora.com/vitazing-spf-15-energy-boosting-moisturizer-with-mangosteen-P297521?skuId=1375732)

My hydro flask insulated water bottle. I can run can run around all day leaving it in the car and it still has ice and cold water in it at the end of the day. Such a simple thing but it’s great.
I second the color catchers as well.

My smartphone, especially google calendar/contacts.

Scrub Daddy.

love these sponges

My microplane zester:

[Amazon.com: Microplane 40020 Classic Zester/Grater: Kitchen & Dining](http://www.amazon.com/Microplane-40020-Classic-Zester-Grater/dp/B00004S7V8)

I use it for cheese and to make citrus zest.

I’m going to try workflowy and the laundry products. And maybe the face cream. Already know about dropbox (but don’t use it that much).

I nominate this as the best thread ever.

My benzoyl peroxide/clindamycin acne gel. I am pimple free for the first time in decades.

Our Sodastream seltzer maker. Three zaps with the CO2 cartridge and you have seltzer. No more buying bottles from the store which end up in the recyclables.

And for me, its my MAC book air. Very light so easy to take along.

Does the sodastream really taste as good as say, Diet Coke?

We don’t use the syrups so I can’t say. What we do do is buy apple and grape juice concentrate and make “sparkling” soda. Very satisfying in the summer.

Shark steam mop–as I have mostly ceramic tile floors in my house. Beats lugging around a mop and bucket and no streaky soap residue.

Love the Roomba vacuum, that keeps our floors clean as programmed with little effort by us!

Love the Mint vacuum, that dry-sweeps my hardwood floors and, it says, wet mops as well. I’ve only used the dry-sweep function. Anything my Mint does is something I don’t have to do.

Downloadable audiobooks. I go through more books in a year now, and in more subjects, than I would in decades.

Battery-operated pepper mill!
