Glad to hear it’ll work for you. If you haven’t signed up yet, here are some coupon codes that might save you a few bucks. They advertise on a radio show I listen to and give the code FREEBEER for two free months. Not sure if the promo’s still running or not.

Powercropper, I can tell you my kids use that too and ours appears to be a generic item that usually costs $5-$10. It is issued by prescription, so you will have to get a doctor to prescribe it. Kid is supposed to put it on in the morning, and then uses a much more expensive retinol cream in the evening. The regime worked for one of my kids, not the other, but it is probably worth a try!

RainX on shower glass, the original, not the mixture formulas
Must start with clean glass walls, the RainX acts as a repellant coating that you use to clean the glass every week, no other product necessary

This probable trash can: [Thetford 36773 Stormate Garbage Bag Holder:Amazon:Home & Kitchen](http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001Y8QY5C/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?qid=1375282056&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX110_SY190)
Whenever I move, I simply put the parts in my suitcase, drive to my new place, and then install in about a minute. If anyone was looking for a practical gift for a college bound student, or just needs an easy to store trash can, check it out.

Even though I’m a couple if years behind the fad, I just purchased a knock off Slap Chop (~ $6 at Walmart) and it’s fantastic. I find myself incorporating harder to chop vegetables into my dishes much more frequently than I did before I purchased the device.

The Magic Eraser seems to come in a heavier duty version- never tried that. I use the regular one and never had a problem on painted walls. I agree it’s a miracle.

Right now, my newest “baby” is Hulu Plus. We have On Demand, but not subscriber channels and this is filling in some blanks, for us. TV isn’t that big a deal, to us, but it may work for a few shows, this summer.

RR- If it’s Leo Laporte, he’s still advertising discounts/specials on Carbonite. Plus the Carbonite site has some savings.

I have had problems with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Sometimes it seems to take some of the paint off the wall and leave an odd pale mark.

lookingforward, it’s Free Beer and Hot Wings, a show I imagine isn’t on the radar of most people here. ;)

(Though they did get some international attention recently for their stunt busting a panhandler that was lying about being a homeless vet.)

Awesome thanks for the Carbonite coupons. I am really happy not to have to drag folders into dropbox to back up, that was a huge issue, or use an app to recreate dummy folders outside the Dropbox. Dropbox free will still be handy for sharing projects but this is much much better as a cloud storage solution.

I guess I’d also just add the cloud generally and icloud in particular. I sync my work and update materials all the time - like apps - all the time without thought and can upload photos as they’re taken, etc. I can get recommendations, etc. based on my location and so on. Really amazing change.

Keyless Ingition - It was not high on our priority list, but DH seems to like it ok on his car. Me… not so much. I always have the key for his car in my purse, so I have to make sure I don’t walk near the car first - that makes it start autoadjusting to my seat setting.

That seat adjustment is kind of neat. We do not carry each others’ keys, so it does not cause a problem.

Historically H and I tend to carry each other’s keys, which makes swapping cars very easy! :). Might have to adapt if we get one or more of these new-dangled keyless cars. ;)

I have always used google drive for documents & picasaweb for pictures. Is there any reason dropbox would be better? Google storage is so incredibly cheap!

Allthis–Dropbox is free. I like it because it automatically saves the docs to my desktop on a file/folder tree identical to the windows ones. It saves docs in MS Word form if that’s what they were written in. It might be me, but I find Google drive docs hard to work with–possibly I’m missing something there, but I hate the editing controls on it. DB puts the docs on three hard drives for me, but GD is only cloud based.

So those are the reasons I like DB better. Again, maybe it’s just me not getting along with GD.

Just ordered my bright purple 40 ounce Wide mouth Hydroflask.
Couldn’t resist the recs here and on Amazon.
Will make.my daily trec to town pool for laps nicer.

My “hacked” Swiffer mop. Based on some recommendations here and elsewhere on line, I ditched the two parts of the Swiffer system that I disliked–the costly and wasteful disposable mop covers, which I replaced with washable cloth ones that attach with Velcro and are actually more absorbent, and the costly detergent that left my floors sticky, which I replaced with a mix of water, vinegar and bleach (after learning how to “fix” the cap so it could easily be removed and replaced). Now I’m very happy with the Swiffer, though I’m sure the Swiffer folks would not be a fan of me.

I’ve always carried keys to 2 (or even 3) cars. Gosh, if I took them out of the purse I’d need to remember where there were. It was especially handy when I was at work and our two kids at the nearby hs managed to lock the car with key on the dashboard. The were swapping blame between the driver and “the distracter”. They still refused to heed my advise to just get in the habit of using the key to lock the door.

I did those too Momma! Bought a pack of 6 washable covers, and will hack the liquid once i finish what came with it.

Now if I could ever sweep/vacuum my floor carefully enough to avoid the “swiffer line” of dirt that gets pushed into the corner…
