Project Runway

I agree that Dayoung will not end up making it too the end. The other designers can only help her so many times to get everything done. I did not like Victoria in this last challenge. So pouty and childish. “I just don’t like print” stomp feet and pout. Sergio needs to go. I don’t have a favorite yet but I think this season has gotten better as it’s been going on. I almost stopped watching after week two but decided to continue with it, and I’m liking it more.

The previews show Victoria walking out. I wish she were more flexible.

I’ve been watching but didn’t think anyone else was so I quit posting! I can’t believe Sergio is still there. That dress he made with the names of the children on it was just ugly, regardless of the political statement.
I like Geoffrey, but his nervous energy/anxiety makes me uncomfortable sometimes.
In the team challenge a few weeks ago, I didn’t think the winning group was cohesive at all. And the losing group was way too matchy. And I didn’t like how they seemed to leave Nancy, the older lady, out.

Sergio annoys me to no end…he needs to go!

And yes, looks like Victoria’s days may be numbered too…she’s very talented but everything she makes looks the exact same.

Watching also. I think that even though Sergio is annoying that he can sew and is talented. Everyone left is talented but who has the stamina and fortitude to stay.

And I love Christian, I think he gives really good advice. And tells the designers that they need to do better and suggests how also. I think he’s a very good mentor

I’m also impressed with Christian. Example, his dvi e to Victoria to add the print to her top was spot on.

I doubt Nancy will be around too long. She can sew, but not my style. That coat she made was huge, and the pants too. What saved her was the lovely fitted. top.

I’m a little tired of Victoria’s drama…

Tonight, I liked Nancy’s better than Sergio’s. His random fringe on the front looked like pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey. To me, fringe like that should come from a seam or hem. I also thought that the two that were safe would be in the top.

I watched for the first time in a while. The editors seem to have mistaken whining for drama. If next week’s episode isn’t any better I won’t bother to watch again.

I’m short, so could never wear Nancy’s dress. That collar would overwhelm me. I do feel badly for the one asked to,leave, who has such a strong work ethic.

I purposely skipped a lot of seasons and only watched it again now for some reason of convenience. (Nothing else on?) Maybe I had it with Klum.

But some of the recent designs take my breath away. So stunning. Several, last night, eg.

Agree something is different about the editing. Maybe less focus on the making, more on personal and interpersonal? And that whiny Victoria is awful. Anyone working in that industry knows it’s beyond tough. Who moans, crumbles over, waves off others, that they can’t take being near the bottom? Who has the self centered nerve? Talk about a snowflake.

I realize lots watch for that drama, but not me. I want the fashion.

I did not watch last night’s episode but have read the posts upon UNTIL last night.

I also have fallen in love with Christian. Just the right amount of support, humor and criticism in a bit of a sarcastic way - PERFECT!

I have a hard time liking Brittany though I can see them setting the stage for her to have a top spot. Just something about her that doesn’t grab me right.

Victoria does have some quirks that are not attractive - like when she didn’t want any touching/hugs when she was on the bottom. But I have to admit, I love watching and listening to her. She is a BEAUTIFUL woman and I can’t help but love her accent - she reminds me of some of my foreign relatives!

Geoffery is someone else who seems to be getting good camera time and I wonder if he might be a dark horse. His anxiousness does make me anxious!

It bugged me how Victoria blamed her troubles on her bad English instead of on her consistent refusal to listen to what the challenge was about - and then sending the same design down the runway over & over.

Yes, listen to Christian!!! I find myself telling this to the TV. He is so right on with his suggestions, whether the fabric, the design, etc.

Victoria’s dress last night was awful and had nothing to do with the challenge; she should have been sent home.

As much as I have just enjoyed Victoria from an entertainment point of view I have NOT liked her personality lately and I do believe she is using the language barrier as a crutch. I can’t believe they kept her over the younger black woman (sorry can’t remember her name!). I thought they might eliminate her and Christian might save her but did not think she would be safe.

I have to believe she has used up all her lives now.

Haven’t watched last night’s episode yet!

Last night was interesting. I think the loser definitely had the worst (by far) design.

I did not get the “Sergio copied that Celine Dion look” for the most part. Sure, it was the same concept but Celine’s was a baggy mess, imo, and Sergio’s was very elegant and fit that model perfectly.

That being said, the producers/directors are not making Sergio very “likeable,” but Victoria is a major PITA!

They didn’t show a lot of it, but I really liked Sergio’s garment. Very happy Victoria didn’t win the challenge. Anyone but Victoria, lol.

Sergio may be pompous, but his dress was exquisite. Even if he had seen the Celine dress, his was a big improvement.

The save was nice, but I see the person who received it as making it to the final five.

My favorite design from last night was Geoffrey’s. I thought it was unique.

I also liked the winning design as well. His model definitely sold it!

I mean, NOT making it to final 5
