I totally fell asleep for the part announcing the winner - I did see who “went home”.
So who actually won??
Also I really, really, really hope that Jeffery makes it to fashion week. He seems so desperate that I hope he has the chance to build a collection.
@abasket Marquise won this week.
As soon as they said she was out I knew Christian was going to use his save on her.
While I am not enjoying Victoria as a person (way too whiny and pouty), I did like her look this week at least. I agree the winning look was quite good and of course his model made it look fabulous. From what I caught of the preview for next week (I tend to not watch it too closely as I would rather be surprised) it looked like tie dye and we all know how Victoria feels about color so she’s bound to be complaining yet again.
I wasn’t unhappy to see Delvin and Brittany sharing the bottom with Nancy after the trash talking incident.
I felt bad for the two that were helping Sergio and Victoria. I was hoping it would hurt them, but they were able to do it alone just fine.
I don’t remember Christian saving anyone last season. I thought the save went away with Tim Gunn, so I was surprised at the end.
He didn’t; it was not an option.
Ahhh- that’s why I don’t remember. So, was that flashback at the end Christian asking the judges to have “the save” restored? I thought he was just telling them why he was saving her. I wasn’t paying much attention after the save.
I think it was just him explaining his reason for the save. I think that reference to the Siriano save was made in earlier episodes of this season, but truth be told, I tend to fast forward through repetitive stuff (e.g. previously on…, "Let’s meet our judges, " “The winner of PR will receive…,” “smoky eye.” ![]()
ETA: It was announce earlier in print anyway:

At some point in an earlier episode, maybe the first one, they mentioned the Siriano Save.
Thanks. I missed all that somehow. I do think Christian is really good in the mentor role. I enjoy his comments at Mood and in the workroom.
I agree, I love both his random comments as well as the advice he gives.
My husband and I both thought the model wearing the winning design looked like a matador!
I’ve also been enjoying Christian on Project Runway this year. Tim Gunn is an incredibly hard act to follow so kudos to Christian for growing into the mentor role and making it his own!
Christian had at least two looks on the Oscar red carpet tonight:

and
And here’s a couple more:

Have any of you watched “Next In Fashion” on Netflix? A similar show. with hosts Tan France from Queer Eye and Alexa Chung (eh? just googled and a GQ article says she’s a “cool girl.”)
I enjoyed it. The caliber of contestants, all of whom are established in the fashion world, is high.
I found Alexa’s outfits, many of which are retro/tongue-in-cheek, to be odd. She wears a sad, frumpy dress during the print challenge and I believe she said it’s from her collection (but don’t quote me, as I didn’t go back to re-watch the episode.) But then, what do I know?!
It’s a fun show.
I loved the winning look tonight.
Maybe it was my TV, but I had a hard time seeing Sergio’s tie-dye. There was not enough contrast in the colors to show up well, but I liked his dress. It looked very Jackie O to me.
I took a test in a magazine once when I was younger and my style is “classic” (haha) so I guess that’s why I like Sergio’s designs most of the time.
Not surprised by who went home, but I thought the other bottom look was equally bad.
I thought the other bottom look was significantly worse. The losing look was boring, but the almost losing look was horrible.
I think V has paid someone off. Her look this week was awful, last week was awful, and several of the other ones were too similar.
I cannot figure out why this person is still there.
