Hey, I am a prospective UVA transfer student and had an idea and wanted to get some feed back. I am huge on trying to raise awareness for cancer especially pediatric cancer. I volunteer for St.Jude during the summer and try to do so many fundraisers to help out. One thing St.Jude has began is called the “Warrior Dash” which is basically like the mud run but more extreme. I thought it would be a neat idea to do one at UVA so that whoever does get accepted the next school year can form bonds with more classmates and it would get more people to get involved. Obviously I would need to talk to different UVA staff and hopefully get students on board to help but just wanted to know what everyone thought of this first.
