ah thanks anyway guys

lets say i missed 1 math, 2 writing, and 3 critical reading. according to the practice test charts (which i threw away), what would i have?

some answers i know are correct for math are 22, 32.5, 14, 14, 10098, f(3)=g(2), 1/6, 2.50, 171, 8, 166, 4 possible for a^b=64, 4 x-intercepts and for the reading oracular, casual approach, surly…dishonest, squander, irrelevant, elan…technique, dirge, playful, prattle, overly alarmist and finally the writing I’m still not sure about the “experience having taught…to plant” question. from what i’ve heard it is A (having), but i think it’s just a bad question. also the workers on strike question i still haven’t figured out.
Are y’all sure that the answer was economical…synthetic for the silk vs rayon question? i put affordable…delicate, which seemed to make more sense.

What about the question from the passage about wavelengths that pointed to the sentence talking about how animals like flies and octopi use waves?

oh yea, i said something like it allowed their eyes to be able to perceive them because it said in the reading that if the wavelengths were larger, animals would need eyes the size of satellite dishes

I thought that was the answer to a different question?

i don’t think so…maybe. what do you think your answer was to that question?

Hey nobody has talked about this question except at the beginning, but it seems like no one got the answer I got and I was positive I had it right.

It was identifying errors, something about Greek myths. I don’t remember it exactly, but iwas something along the lines of “Greek myths are …to explaining… While others view them as a series of…
Everyone said it was supposed to be “attempt to explain”, but I thought “a series of…” was wrong because you can’t describe something plural (myths) with a singular (A series).
It’s like saying " sally and molly both want to be a model”. You have to say they want to be modelS

Yeah, really not sure now :/

yea i got the idiom error as well

I have another question, the first question on the passage comparing Wikipedia to britannica. IT was what best characterizes the first sentence or something. I picked idealistic but flawed-bc it was like something about utopian era, blahaha

yea it was idealistic but flawed

hellomynameisc i see what you are trying to say, but the phrase “attempted in explaining” is way off…

Ah yes, the dreaded “series” and other ambiguous singular/plural words. But thank goodness that they made the error pretty discernible. It had to be “in explaining.”

Another question for Sec. 1 reading. It is something about “Ralph invented grammar… Teressa …put her Chinese language…”
one of the answer choice was Ralph improvised English freely, but it was not the answer that I chose. Anybody has any ideas?

Also, the one question below it. (something about original element…) I chose Chinese language. What do you guys think?

I am really unsure about the African conservation passage. Please post all the answers that you can remember, whether you are sure that the answers are correct or not.

i got chinese language, that one’s definetely right

I am more worried about the other one

for ie

was it ‘because’ or ‘due to’

and can someone please clear up the chinese garden one

I’m pretty sure it was BECAUSE and not DUE TO. Also, I put Chinese and for the other question I wrote he improvises the language because in the passage it said he always was making up new words, grammar etc.

I picked DUE TO and not BECAUSE… and i said he improvises the language as well… Also, the more natural element was CHINESE LANGUAGE.
