when do we get scores?

Good Luck to everyone taking the SAT next May… oO

To collegebound, I believe we get our score reports from our guidance counselors in early December.

danggg that’s such a long time
i wish sophomores whose scores don’t count could get them earlier

^^no soph’s scores count. the counselors just talk to you about it, the freshman that do take it just get it w/o a talk

Sophomore scores do not count.

Bump

Those of you who have received your scores back for Form S, any verification of some of the disputed questions on the test? How were the curves?

Yeah, that would be really helpful!

My school gives out scores the week before winter vacation but I heard that PSAT scores are online on around 12/6…will the score pop up in my collegeboard page or do I need to wait for my score to arrive and then use the username and code on that sheet to access my scores online?

I took PSAT form S this year-Junior. I didn’t get the grid-ins for math. How do you solve: Kurt numbered the pages in his notebook from 1 to 59. In doing this, he wrote n digits. What is the value of n? The answer is 109, but I don’t how you get that answer-can you guys show me <3
my goal for the Sat is 2300 for May 2012.

I did well except on the grid-ins. I took this PSAT this year. How do you solve: Kurt numbered the pages in his notebook from 1 to 59. In doing this, he wrote n digits. What is the value of n? The answer is 109, it is a easy question, but I don’t get how you get 109. <3 thanks! ;)

Kurt wrote:

[1,9] inclusive (I use brackets to indicate an inclusive set). To count the number of numbers in an inclusive set, subtract the numbers, take the absolute value, and add 1.

9 - 1 = 8 => 8 + 1 = 9. Kurt wrote 9 digits when writing the numbers from 1 to 9, inclusive.

[10,59].

10 - 59 = -49 => 49 => 50 => 50 * 2 = 100.

Remember, two digit numbers have two digits. Therefore, Kurt wrote 100 digits when writing the numbers 10 to 59, inclusive.

100 + 9 = 109.
