but i thought the coordinates were (a,b) and (0, 2b)? that would make the base length a the the height b and then the area would be 1/2ab.

^6for farming birthplace that was the answer. the others were pretty random.

also for the CR, what did you put for the question that asked why Morgan asked, reflection?

I think he asked reception. But the answer I chose was something along the lines of he was surprised by the question

Oh you’re right haha. And I think that’s what I put…

The Morgan question which asks what was the purpose of the stating the argument over food was the answer to specify the issue at hand?

how was the corn problem $2.50?
the $1 can was 28 ounces, the $.75 can was like 16, and the $.5 can was 10
you need at least 60 ounces for the recipe. multiply three for $1 can (two cans would only get you 56 ounces), multiply four for $.75 can (three cans would only yield 48 ounces), and multiply six for the $.5 can (for perfect 60 ounces)
all of those produce $3.00 total. so shouldn’t the the least costly brand still be $3.00 regardless?

two 28 ounce cans would give you 56 ounces for 2$. Then adding a 10 ounce can would give you 66 ounces for $2.50. The question did not ask for exactly 60 ounces, which means you can have extra.

What’s -2 on cr and -2 on math

For the writing section, does anyone remember the Marie Antoinette (Identify the Error) question? Was that a no error or something else? And the last question, did anyone pick the longest answer?

^ I think it was an incorrect idiomatic expression. Forget exactly what, but it wasn’t No Error IIRC.

Does anyone else remember the Marie Antoinette question. I can’t remember it either.

For the Marie Antoinette question I think I put responded for. Should be responded to(?)

What was the answer to the question in the first reading section which stated that the author would most likely consider which of the following a new approach at conservation in Africa?

I’m soo stressed out about the psat (yeah, nerd much right?)

but I could not finish 3 problems in the second cr section, since I completely lost track of time. And I am sure to have gotten one other MC wrong. :/

Can anyone tell me what is the best score I could possibly pray for if I left 3 blank and one wrong just for the CR section?

Otherwise, I thought the math and writing were ok. My dad is just really freaking out about my CR score. And a freaked out dad doesn’t help me much either o.O

argghhhh i can’t believe i missed those…

For the approach the author would consider effective I wrote an approach that would comprise “both the local citizens and the African conservationists working together to make a plan”.

Thank you, monstor344. I’m feeling much better :)

Which score conversion charts are you using to find your rough scores?

To the person asking about the triangle area: the base would be 2b and the height would be a. Plug it into the formula:

Area = 1/2bh
Area = 1/2(2b)(a)
Area = ab

Good luck to anyone taking the Nov SAT this saturday :)
