I think you only need a code if your existing account uses a diff email address than what you put on the morning of the test. Not everyone will need to link scores to their account.
@maksbow That’s a really good point. Plus, we have to remember that CC has very skewed data; it’s not at all representative of every test-taker.
I’m somewhat pissed about my reading score (33). My proctor cheated my group out of 3-4 minutes. I got 30 out of the first 33 questions, but missed 7 out of the remaining 14 questions as I rushed to finish on time. When I complained to the proctor, she said, “It’s just a practice test, it’s not like it matters”. It’s frustrating that reading might cost me NMS when I got 800 on the SAT.
hey everyone! 221 /1470 from CA… I don’t know if it’ll be enough to make it… Crossing my fingers! I got around what I expected
I want my scores!!!
@maksbow there can be more people in the top 1% if more people took the test.
700R, 760M, SI 216
I don’t think I’m making it in CA.
Where do you enter the code?
@2muchquan more people who take test overall = more semifinalists…
I got 700R and 720M SI 212 in FL it’s like right on the cutoff so I am praying really hard right now I am honestly shocked to death it was that high because I was not expecting that at all… I thought I did horribly afterwards
I got a 750 math 750R with an SI of 225 in washington. wooooh 1500 leggo!
219 in Ohio. I took the October 28th (second) test and saw online #11 of math without calculator was thrown out because “The statistical analysis of this question led to a determination that it did not perform as intended. As a result, the question will not be scored and is identified as “unscorable” on reports.”
Interesting…
@masksbow there are 16,000 semifinalist no matter how many people take the test.
I got a 1440, 215 SI and I live in Florida… Is that qualifying?
It seems like everyone’s doing exceptionally well. That’s unusual. Do you think cutoffs will be relatively high because of this?
According to NMSC website semifinalists are capped at 16,000. With more people taking the test the speculation is 99% will not be enough for NMSF, especially in high performing states.
@KrazyKing5461 No, it just seems like everyone is doing exceptionally well because you’re on College Confidential. If you look at the percentiles you can tell that everyone didn’t o as well as those posting on here.
@nilupa the score cutoff is reaosnable…206 what was your overall score?
Every 5 minutes we should post: state cutoffs are unknown at this time. Good luck!
@KrazyKing5461 also, the only people who actually post their scores here are the ones that score relatively high
