Just so you know, the highest cutoffs for this past year were in DC, NJ and International testers with a 225 this ultimately equals 94% on the old scale so if you do the math than you should have to get a 1430/1520 if CB follows similar percentages. Again loving the fact that I live in Alabama which had a cutoff of 209 last year which is about 87% or a 1330/1520. Roll Tide

@Manohar123 And then that doesn’t automatically give you a scholarship. The big $$ scholarships come from the colleges themselves, usually those that are working hard to improve the SAT scores of their student body. If you make Finalist status, those colleges may offer half-tuition, full-tuition, or even full ride scholarships. U of Alabama, U of Kentucky, and U of Oklahoma are notable for their scholarships, but there is a full list maintained elsewhere on CC.
However, many Finalists never actually get a scholarship at all, because they choose to go to schools that already have too many high scoring applicants to choose from. Think the Ivys, Stanford, MIT, Chicago, top LACs, etc.
But having a guaranteed full ride in your pocket at the beginning of the application season sure does take a lot of pressure off!
