**PSAT Discussion Thread 2015**

Can anyone guess around where Florida will be?

People are copying too quickly lol… how about each person just posts their own stats and then someone copies and pastes all of them into one list later.

@LAD2266 EXACTLY

i think we should stick with the old method of posting your individual score and then somebody adds it into the list idk… any ideas ???

1340, 203, 98th Percentile
1360, 198, 98th Percentile
1370, 200, 99th Percentile
1380, 206, 99th Percentile
1390, 207, 99th percentile
1390, 209, 99th percentile
1400, 206, 99th Percentile
1400, 210, 99th Percentile
1410, 208, 99th Percentile
1470, 220, 99th Percentile
1470, 221, 99th Percentile
1480, 221, 99th Percentile
1480, 222, 99th Percentile
1500, 225, 99th Percentile
1520, 228, 99th Percentile
1520, 228, 99th Percentile

1420, 210, 99th Percentile

For this percentile list, are people making sure to post their percentile based on the PSAT takers percentile, not the national average (which includes those who probably wouldn’t take the PSAT)? Because I think only the former would be valid.

@jakeolsen11 Florida will be about in the middle for the national average based on last year’s cutoff. You’ll need to be close to 99.0 percentile

So I asked this question earlier, but it seems like every one is more anxious now about the cutoffs being much higher than usual, so I’ll ask again: do you think that 221 will be enough for NY? Or will it be something much closer to perfect?

^^^ i think @websensation has the most updated

any ideas for maryland and california?

Think 209 will cut it it Iowa?

Posting the official score next to the NMS selection index isn’t that reliable because they’re scored differently…right?

Do you think a 1390 207 is good enough for FL

Hello, now this that thread has developed? Will a 1470, 221 SI make semifinalist in CALIFORNIA (CA)?

It’s hard to guess what 99.0 percentile equates to a selection index. I would guess that 220 SI would qualify you for NMSF in any state since it is 20 points higher than the ~98.5 percentile

1340, 203, 98th Percentile
1360, 198, 98th Percentile
1370, 200, 99th Percentile
1380, 206, 99th Percentile
1390, 207, 99th percentile
1390, 209, 99th percentile
1400, 206, 99th Percentile
1400, 210, 99th Percentile
1410, 208, 99th Percentile
1420, 210, 99th Percentile
1470, 220, 99th Percentile
1470, 221, 99th Percentile
1480, 221, 99th Percentile
1480, 222, 99th Percentile
1500, 225, 99th Percentile
1520, 228, 99th Percentile
1520, 228, 99th Percentile

@jakeolsen11 It appears that the cutoff will be anywhere in the 205-213 range. So you’ll probably be right on the line. I’m in Florida too btw.

@appgodxoxo I’m basically in the same position, except somewhere you got lucky with a one point higher SI :\

My general consensus from reading the threads is that so far people think the cutoff will be between 219-221 so I think you’re pretty safe.

Are scores posted above juniors only?
