What time zone are you guys in. Are the scores speculated to be released 12AM/7AM CST or EST?
@icantsleep SAME i did horribly sophomore year bc i didnt care, but if you really tried hard and studied im sure you can get massive score improvements to achieve NM
If my profile isn’t complete will i still recieve my scores? My school isn’t in the list… (I took it at another school)
I got a 181 on my PSAT last year as a sophomore, but still got the TASP letter this year
@camelot39 PST! for the ACT, scores came out at exactly 10pm, so I’m assuming that will be the situation today (meaning that it would be 12AM CST, and 1AM EST)

I think you’ll get a huge score improvement. I think it’s possible to get into NMSQT. Practicing for the PSAT will help A LOT. Especially if you take practice tests before the exam, you will have the test effect where you know how the problems are organized so you can breeze through them quickly. Also, I took my first PSAT in freshman year but I was really anxious and left many omitted if I wasn’t 100% confident so that I wouldn’t lose any points. What a bad idea that was.
Being on the west cost sucks when it comes to AP scores but it’s definitly a plus to get collegeboard stuff “earlier”
My son is a senior this year (but I am watching this thread because my daughter took the PSAT this year). He received the TASP letter last year. He had a 202 PSAT score his sophomore year, but a 225 his junior year. I really do think the TASP invites are based on the current year PSAT. Remember, the person at college board who tweeted the TASP information may not be lying, they may just me misinformed.

I never got TASP and I was 99th percentile last year (although I’m from mass so I’m not sure if I was 99th for my state, I can’t remember what my report said), if it’s on SATs, I have 99th percentile scores on all sections for that too. Ugh now I feel like I must have bombed the PSAT this year…

I didn’t take the PSAT last year as a sophomore and I haven’t gotten anything from TASP, but I have gotten letters/emails from Stanford, Harvard, Brown, and now Duke. So… possibly a good sign? But I’m worried.
