Ugh, I GUESS I’ll just postpone my homework and SAT cramming until tomorrow. Judging how I’m a nervous wreck right now, I doubt I’ll get anything productive done anyways. Good luck everyone
Went to go do laundry, come back to find potential TASP disciples. If this can clarify anything (and I hope it will seeing as there are many misconceptions), here is my interpretation of what TASP is and the foundation of the prophecy. TASP is a summer program through Telluride which provides several liberal arts related classes and scholarship opportunities. Telluride, according to the letter I received, tries to support minorities (which I am). That may explain why high scoring students did not receive a letter. The email I received said I was selected as a potential applicant due to two things (1) opting to allow the Educational Testing Service to share information (2) scoring high on the PSAT in my area. As I did not score significantly high last year, I have concluded TASP is using this years scores. The prophecy therefore dictates that both the email and letter are a sign of good will from the PSAT gods. An omen for good fortune.
If you still doubt (and remember Socrates was doubted too) as you did not receive an email. Are you a minority? Did you opt to share information? Your thoughts are dubious now, but soon, the prophecy will be fulfilled!
@stresstasticlife not that I can find
but I’m also not a minority, and I have indicated that I will pursue engineering this year, but last year I indicated journalism… uh oh this isn’t looking like it would’ve been based on last year
8:00 am EST? That’s 5:00 am for me. Guess I’m setting up an alarm
I got a TASP e-mail on the e-mail that I used only for their year’s PSAT and a Brown e-mail on the e-mail I used for last year’s PSAT so I think the scores are based on this year’s PSAT.
@mnpapa29 Tell her I said hello!! I guess I am not so anonymous…lol!! Just a few more hours!
Tomorrow, are scores going to be posted on the scorereport page or will we still need access codes? Does the access code come in an email or do we need to get it from our counselor?
Less than 10 hours left!!
Scores should just be posted on your account without the need of an access code at least that was how it was when I checked my score early. Also, I scored in the 99th percentile this year and I did not receive a TASP email/mail and I did not take the PSAT last year.
I got a 73 on the writing section last year as a sophomore. This year, all of my scores I felt dramatically improved. It’s no doubt over 200, although I expect to be a good bit higher. And no TASP for me.
Did anyone else just get the MyRoad email from the College Board?
Alright no matter what happens, just know that psat will not matter in the end. if you do well, nice! but if you dont, remember, test scores do not define you. good luck everyone and i hope everyone finds peace
Guys I just realized something about TASP. My name is really long and not until this year did the whole thing fit on the answer sheet. On the actual physical mail I received from TASP, it uses the shortened version of my name I used last year.
That makes me really certain that they used last years score, sorry if that dashed anyone’s hopes, because I’m right there with you
@Bunnylionn If this is correct that pretty much settles it.
If TASP focuses on liberal arts and minorities, you probably got a letter/email if you indicated a liberal arts major, are a minority, and got a great PSAT score. So everyone who aren’t minorities, and are majoring in something other than liberal arts (like myself) maybe there’s still hope!
No what is that ( the my road email)
I can also confirm from a friend whose brother knows somebody employed by the ap side of CB that test scores post at 7:58-8:02 eastern time
I’m Asian and put my major down as health and medicine. I also got a 170 on the PSAT last year, 59 in writing (95th percentile), so it doesn’t really make sense that I got the email.
TASP was last years scores but even if u think you wouldn’t have qaulified last year u have to remember overall percentile was compared to last years juniors so u may have been in top 1% of sophomores last yr. college board source said some colleges wouldn’t say which ones have 2015 scores but not telluride
The anticipation is real.
