I applied in December as an international student. Do you guys know when will they send out decisions?
@abcdepp1 the decisions shuld come pretty soon… I applied on 27th November… I guess thts considered early and i got in on feb 2nd…
So the decision shuld be out by this month… No bets tho…

Over 3 weeks and counting waiting for reevaluation for DUS UP Summer. Has anyone who asked to be reevaluated heard anything?
@mmsharp Yes we requested reveal on Jan 22 and the web site was updated with acceptance last week. Sorry you are still waiting its stressful. While we were waiting he was accepted to U of Maryland and we visited and loved it. Decision time
Once you accept your admission for summer and turn in the FAFSA is there anything else to do right now? Or will they notify me later for the other things. Also does the meal plan you get for summer carry over to fall? @jlhpsu
@thewaiting4ever - thanks - we are dying here! I really loved UMD! My son didn’t apply though. All he wants is PSU really and I am stressing out that we are losing any chance at housing at Altoona if he doesn’t get into Main
@asaberian summer dining plan dollars transfer to fall, fall transfers to spring…but whatever is left at end of spring is forfeited. Fyi, lion cash always stays yours, so if you are running out of dining dollars, add lion cash rather than upping meal plan. The meal plan will automatically revert to lion cash if meal plan balance is zero and any leftover lion cash is yours.
Are there still people waiting for their initial decision who applied by Nov 30th? Or are they caught up now?

@Thewaiting4ever My D applied and got into UMaryland. But, PSU is her top choice. Had she not gotten in…She would have gone to UM.
Regarding Altoona housing. Can you put down a housing deposit and then if you get into Main have them transfer the housing deposit there. Not sure they will do it. But, it might be worth a call.

@zipbags Did U of Maryland provide any (non need based) financial support? If so when did the letter come? That is what we are waiting for to make our decision.
@mmsharp we too are worried that waiting on the $ figures from Maryland will jeopardize both summer LEAP registration for classes and housing…if its not one thing its another

This might seem like an incredibly stupid question but when registering for leap and you look at the available courses, how do you know which class falls under which gen ed requirement? im talking about this http://schedule.psu.edu/act_search.cfm#

@heyitsme The club team has tryouts early in the school year. I would advise tracking down a contact in the spring and finding out before you get to campus in August
