Purchased from buy.com through amazon

Anyone had experience here?

I bought a small electronic device on Jan 1 from Amazon. It was a very low price - runs around $200 and they had it for $167.
delivery was to be expected between Jan 7th and 12th.

Yeaterday I got an email from buy.com saying it was backordered and I could cancel. I looked on Amazon’s website and the price had gone up to over $200. Today it’s back down to $167.
The price on buy.com yesterday was $167 and they claimed on their website it was “in-stock”. Today the price on buy.com is $208.

Today on the Amazon website it lists for $167 and they claim I can have it by Monday 1/11/10 if I order in the next 8 hours and choose one-day shipping.
My item has not shipped and I am wondering if it will ship - any ideas?

Call them. Google the number for Amazon customer service.

Very strange. I’ve found Amazon’s customer service to be excellent (although I wish they would not make it so hard to find the number!) I’m sure they will straighten this out quickly if you call.

I sent an email but it went to buy.com.
I don’t really get how this works - going through Amazon.

i see on the amazon website the item is for sale cheaper - $162.00 but from a different vendor - maybe I should cancel and re-order. ARGH!
