We scheduled an in person visit for tomorrow thinking we will get result by now. We are not flying so should I cancel or leave the tour as is. I donā€™t want the cancellation to impact anything. Help!

I would think that decisions are made by now and canā€™t imagine that cancelling the tour would impact anything.

FWIW, Iā€™m sorry you are still waiting and donā€™t have a decision!

A question, I have applied for FYE RA, and got deferred. I still have not received any decision so far. But i have heard that Purdue has released decision for many FYE applicant 3-4 days before. Does that mean I have been rejected?

Have you checked the portal to see if there is an update? If not, do that first. I assume you have butā€¦ If there is no update, I would assume your on an unofficial waitlist. I have heard of FYE applicants getting rejected so no news might mean they are waiting to see if a lot people come back declining the offer. Just a thought and not inside knowledge.

I would venture to guess the rest of the decisions will be released by tomorrow since 3/31 is Easter and a Sunday.

Yes. I have checked my Portal. It still shows decision available (deferred- its still showing me to submit a LOCI which i have already done). So yeah l havenā€™t received any updates from Purdue. Does that mean I am ether rejected or waitlisted.

Same.No change still it shows decided.

Accepted by Purdue. The status went to completed, then reverted back to decided next day

Same. It is my last school that has not released the decision. I applied in EA and was deferred.

u have a chance of getting in after being deferred(i was admitted into purdue with data science on 15th march afterr being deferred in ea but i hadnt received any sort of mail so u have to check the portal everyday)

If this were any other Friday then the past would indicate yes. However today is different for some reason

You can try. However, some colleges are solid booked. I canā€™t get any admitted visit to CoE.

no, i meant how in the past people who got accepted could schedule an admitted visit before they got their actual decision.
