Engineering EA, tan box is still there… first and last name A lol… was expecting to be rejected anyways so not surprised
Mine hasn’t disappeared. I recently sent a report to Purdue updating my mid term grades, not sure if that’s the reason. What is your SAT/GPA? Just trying to establish a trend if this is negative or positive.
International student, ~3.5… I was 100% sure I’d be rejected so whoever cant see the box congrats on being accepted!!
I don’t read anything into this at all, but just to play along…my kid’s portal changed on Friday or Saturday. Her stats are:

Middle alphabet last name, engineering. Noticed the change a few days before any mention here. DS did apply as soon as the application portal opened.
Will students receive an email when decision is released? Or do they just need to keep checking the portal?
From what I’ve heard you should get an email. Years past recieved an email and most schools send an email.

FWIW, I called up the Purdue Admissions Office this morning. Although Purdue is closed on Jan 15th, the lady said EA decisions would be released on the 15th. She was not sure of the time though.

My DS and his friends haven’t noticed any changes in the portal. All are EA with engineering major, is it by region.

I went back and read last years stuff. They always stick with the 15th on the phone even if the decisions come out early due to weekend. It could be different this year though because it is holiday not weekend.

Jumping off of this. Even when released early it wasn’t usually announced until about the day of. I wouldn’t expect anything until friday announcement wise and its very possible they could wait to release until monday.
I am hoping the release of EA decisions on the 15th is the official spiel on the phone, while in reality results would be released on Friday, Jan 12th! Last year also, I called for S23 and the AO said results would be out on the Sun, 15th and they were released on Fri, Jan 13th. I am hoping lighting strikes twice!!
What I just heard from the admissions office is that it is set up to be released on a certain day and time. They neither confirmed nor denied the exact date i.e 1/12th or 1/15th. I think they might still release on 01/15 as per their schedule after all!
Do you think it is wise to call the admissions office and ask why my application status box has not been updated like my peers?
