thanks!
thank you!
I think that each school within the school reviews their applications therefore they may all come out with just their school. If you donāt see a new decision from the school within the school that your student applied to, they may not have been released. The timing of your updated grades and LOCI were fine, Iām sure. This waiting process is hard. Iām on my third college kiddo and I do know that they find their place even when it may not be the place they dream to be.
My heart aches for kids like your ds.
Found these stats in reddit. For 2023 CS, almost 500 resident students applied, close to 300 were accepted.
Yes, itās interesting how 2023 CS in-state had a 58% acceptance rate but out of state was 34%.
Itās not uncommon for schools to prioritize educating kiddos from their own state.
Have there been any EA deferred applicants in college of engineering that have heard either way yet?
FYE deferred and no answer here yet.
Same
Still waiting here as well for engineering (deferred)
can anyone get into this: https://apply.purdue.edu/portal/admissions-admit-dailyvisit?id=a65e07e0-bd38-4c33-86f4-464bdb7221dd
No, i am getting a message that this is for admitted students onlyā¦
same, but I have for months, so idk if it means anything
i get this message āRegistration for this event is limited to students who are admitted to Purdue University West Lafayette.ā
I get that too, but if I try the admitted students visit for Indianapolis it says the same but instead of WL it has Indianapolis so I donāt think that wording means anything
yeah tried that as well. decisions are close tho so weāll see. weāre almost there
Same here in NY. Deferred EA, engineering, no word.
My deferred FYE son received an admission offer on March 1.
Assuming no announcements tomorrow since Purdue is on spring break?
