Same here. Nothing.
My son is still hopeful on Purdue, but yeah, Iād like a decision either way, sooner rather than later. I didnāt get a feel on the deferrals that were accepted last week, of when they submitted their LOCI, either right away, or in my sonās case, he still had finals and couldnāt submit his LOCI and updated grades until after 2/1⦠Maybe it had an impact, or maybe it didnāt?
i dont think its dependent on the date of submission of LOCI because I submitted it immediately the week after but still havent received any decision
It sounds like your son has a very mature attitude about his next decision. He will do well where he ends up. We are in the boat with many of you, FYE, deferred OOS, high grades and very good resume. Waiting on quite a few schools but starting to focus on two we have and will visit.
This college process needs to be improved. With the many additional ED1, ED 2 and EA acceptances, I would think the remaining RD spots should not take this long. My older son was 5 years ago and nothing like this. Happy this is my last.
Good luck to all and know that all of your words and conversations have helped āmeā a lot!
Technically, you can pay your enrollment deposit to secure your spot, then dip if he gets accepted into Purdue. You might loose a few hundred dollars, but IMO it is worth it if he will spend four years of his life there.
My son submitted his within days of getting deferred and no decision yet.
Agreed. I had twins go through this 5 years ago and it was nothing like this.
5PM came and wentā¦no news. Whelpā¦
nobody has reported anything yet
Any remaining decisions are def rejections
Why do I feel like Iām on the island of misfit toys and Santa has not come
I am relieved to hear this. We are from Puerto Rico and although both my wife and I have degrees, I told my daughter that applying to mainland colleges is so complicated that is like she is a āfirst generation studentāā¦
This forum is big enough that if decisions were released someone would have it on here
two people have sent me proof of decision on reddit and others have reported. So far one acceptance two rejections, weird cause theres so few and last year there were only acceptances until the end of march
Supposedly a couple of people on Reddit said they received decisions this afternoon (looked like ā ā ā ā ā ā at first but supposedly sent proof). Agree that itās weird though that no one on CC heard anything. My son heard nothing (applied RD).
This thread is oddly quiet
Do you know which subreddit? Thanks
Applying to college, then go to decisions megathread, then go to purdue
Purdue is on god edging me
