Purdue or Va Tech?

for undergrad engineering(not sure what major i’m going to do), which school should I go?

my bet on purdue…

SM

definetely purdue…very reputed for engineering

thank you smarty and dexter…
are there poles asunder?
I heard Laffayet is very boring city.

no question PURDUE!

Lunnyisvet, West Lafayette is boring…so is Blacksburg! LOL But I would definitely recommend Purdue over V-Tech. Both are good, but Purdue has a more global reputation.

I recommend UT Austin, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, or UMich over both of them. Purdue is good for engineering, but the overall academic experience aint that good from what i’ve heard/

lol i know both places are boring… but i thought Blacksburg would be little better… at least it’s in Virginia haha

waleedk87… i did not apply to UT Austin and UMich… and UIUC is too expensive for me…

what about education qualities of two schools? do they differ a lot?

hows RPI compare to two schools?

more expensive?

I dont think the education qualities vary a lot. But according to me, the overall academic experience is as important as the strength of the engineering curriculum. In that sense, but these schools dont score much. As for RPI, it is ranked equal to VT and lower than Purdue for engineering. But it’s a small private school so it might be good for you if you’re looking for that.

Personally, i would go to VTech …
