Nothing yet
My son and our friends didn’t get anything either. So we will wait until the 15th. Good luck, everyone!
Is it possible your friend applied to a satellite campus and not W Lafayette?
No, she applied to West Lafayette. My friend told me she’ll swing by the admission office to see what’s going on (we all live in W. Lafayette). She said it may have to do with her daughter taking many classes as no-degree student at Purdue (maybe “acceptance” was for one of the courses she’s taking this semester as a senior?) . I guess I’ll find out soon if it was real.
It wasn’t real. It was a letter for the non-degree student. They were happy and then bummed. Still 9 more days to wait.
In case people missed it, Purdue posted their "Accepted Students Days (aka (PURDUE’S FOR ME)
February 17 & 24. March 2, 9, 23 & 30. April 6, 2020
All Mondays! Ugh.
Boy, getting to these accepted students days is going to be tough. We are in Philadelphia area. Penn State will be easy enough, but Wisconsin, Tennessee, and hopefully Purdue and Georgia Tech (and Michigan too I guess) makes for a lot of travel. Hopefully he thins the field after all decisions received and we only target a select few.
A little over a week to go. Good luck everybody.
As per their Twitter response, they seem to have received 55000+ applications this year. Just wondering how is this figure compared to last year ?
In the same boat as you Snakster with an engineering student. May do March 6th Wisconsin, weekend in Chicago, and then go to Purdue on the 9th. We fly out of Newark, flights to Madison limited.
Anyone know what time on the 17th decisions are released?
I meant the 15th
I meant the 15th
It’s 5.00 PM on 15th
@NJdadEngineer can you point to the tweet you saw about this? Curious and I can’t seem to find it.

It’s 5.00 PM on 15th
Thank You!
@Momofmanytoo I tried to post the link but looks like moderator is reviewing this. You need to check the replies against Jan-7 announcement on admissions page.
Looks like 53,000 and 8000 accepted
8000 was the number of matriculated students. Not the number accepted.
Good morning! I just checked the Purdue admissions portal and noticed that the “cancel your application,” which was on the portal yesterday, is no longer on my son’s portal. Obviously I could be wrong, but I’m 99% sure that my D has been turned down. Ugh.
I don’t see “cancel your application”, don’t remember if it was there before… there are options to make changes to application and upload additional materials…
