Exploratory studies. Submitted LOCI 1/19
if i don’t get a decision today should i just expect a rejection?
i emailed admission today they said by 03/31 we will hear something
I am wondering for those still waiting, what is the major you applied for?
my daughter applied for Computer science
i applied business for first choice and english second
Waiting for my D25 to open her portal. Received an email saying Decision is here at 5:15pm EDT. We are in a time zone that is 12 hours ahead.
congrats! what is she admitted into?
any news?
Yes. Admitted for her 2nd choice: Polytechnic Institute at main campus. Very happy.
congrats!
did the deffered decision come out for anyone in wl or are we all still waiting
Did anyone who was deferred, received decision for engineering ?
we were deferred for cs, but in our LOCI letter we asked to switch from cs to engineering, i think it is not easy. we are still waiting.
hang on there. purdue is worth the waiting! just two more weeks.
I saw on reddit that for FYE and CS, if the decision did not come on Friday, you are rejected for sure . Is this true?
No! There were students in those majors that were accepted at the end of March last cycle. Just a few weeks left to go. Hang in there!!
just two more weeks! The only thing is my daughter want to grab a single person dorm room with bathroom built in (The high end and most expensive type), so she plan to enroll to a college by march 31. my older daughter has this type of dorm room but she is a honor college student at purdue so her dorm is a honor residency. my second daughter didn’t apply for honor. we will wait for two more weeks. LOCI submitted by email on Jan 24 and uploaded around the end of Jan.
i think last year the cs admission for deferred came out around march 15.
Purdue housing doesn’t work on a first come/first serve basis. There is no benefit to submitting early.
Be aware that singles with private baths are usually reserved for students with medical need or upperclassmen. I would tell your daughter not to plan on having a single.
thank you! my oldest daughter was in a three ppl dorm on her first year and she has single person bedroom for next three years but all her 4 years are in honor dorms.
