Hi guys, I’m new on CC
I just wanted to know, how can one actively pursue a deferral from their ED colleges? Considering we have finals and preboards around this time and nothing else to do.

By ‘nothing else to do’ I mean no time to do anything but study.

I don’t understand the question. Do you want a gap year? If that’s what you’re asking about, you will need to talk to the school if admitted. Otherwise, I’m going to need you to clarify.

Sorry, I was talking about getting deferred as an ED applicant. What can we do to prove to the college/univ that we’re a good fit during that time?

send in new grades? any award won during that time, or maybe broadcasting your talent on youtube and sending them a video? lol. people do the latter, actually, but it isnt common now.
A deferral means that you are qualified and that the admission officers will take another look at your application file during their regular admission period. If you are still interested in that college and would attend if accepted, here are some helpful tips of things to do now.
