Put Me Out of My Misery (Advice Needed)

<p>I received an email for the DGS at my 1st choice school saying that they want to nominate me for a fellowship and that I needed to complete a statement. I completed, what I think is a stellar statement :wink: that is winning to say the least. Anyway, I have not received any official acceptance from them yet. Does this not necessarily mean I am accepted? Are they just waiting? What’s the deal?..I am going out of my mind waiting. </p>

<p>How long ago did they ask for the statement? How long did you take to return something to them? Any other communications?</p>

<p>If it is a PhD program, sometimes they will not accept without being able to fund(like with a fellowship). Depends on the program. This is something you can actually ask?</p>
