Hi! So I’m planning on going to England to study law for my undergrad degree. I was looking at the website for queen mary university and it says “Applicants for undergraduate law are required to have four advanced Placements at grade 4 or above (with at least three taken in one sitting)”.

I have scores of 4 and 5 on all of my exams, but I’ve taken only two at the most in one sitting. I thought the maximum number of tests a day was only 2. How am I supposed to take 3 in one sitting?

They mean that you must only take your exams once and not reset them to try and improve your mark (which is quite common here in the UK). Obviously they don’t expect you to do all of your exams in a single day, just to not take them twice.

Um, no. It means that in one cycle of AP exams e.g. May 2011, you must have taken at least 3 and scored 4 and above for them.

For example: You take exams in this order and get the scores in brackets.
May 2010 - Environmental Science (4), Art History (5)
May 2011 - Calculus BC (4), Physics B (5)
This would not fulfill the criteria. The following would.

May 2010 - Environmental Science (4), Art History (5), Physics B (5)
May 2011 - Calculus BC (4)
