Question About an R.O.P. Class

I understand that ROP is basically college credit. Well at the beginning of the year, I was basically put into an ROP class, intro to teaching, because it was the only class with room. I get sent off to be a teacher’s aid on my campus every weekday except Wednesdays. I fill out a paper every week and stuff like that for the ROP credit or something. Now that the semester has finally ended, I can switch out.

My questions about this ROP class is will it be bad if I just switch out halfway of the school year? I do not plan on being a teacher or probably anything that has to do with teaching in the future career. Will the ROP credits earned help me out in college if I decide to major in engineering or something? And what are college’s opinions of me if I switch out of that ROP class to a P.E. class so I can get more practice time for my sport?

Thanks for your replies!

I don’t know what ROP is.

But it won’t matter if you switch out of it. Neither class is really an academic class anyway. I would switch the PE. You’ll be fine.

Thanks for your input. I’d still like more opinion on this matter before I make a decision though.

Any other advices?
