Well… I was just wondering how do I get it. I feel like a dunce for asking this so late, but is it possible for me to request it online even after school is done?
Your school counselor would know the procedures for your school better than an anonymous online forum but if it helps any, at our High School we have an assembly for senior students (and give them a packet of the info) that we go over about graduation (ordering their cap & Gown), Prom, Graduation, and ordering transcripts.
Take a self addressed, stamped envelope (with the College and address it is being sent to) to the counseling office, fill out a form requesting the transcript, paying the $2 for it, and you are good to go. Our school had a date of May 11 that transcripts could not be requested before that date.
The school then sends the transcripts around the 3rd week of June.
On the school website, there is a page where you can order your transcripts online and pay by credit card. This is a more expensive option, as it charges $2 for the transcript and another $2 for a fee to use the service. You can elect to pick up the transcripts (when notified when ready) or have them mailed to you, at the district Records Management Center.
