<p>In High School, the only ECs I had was the first half of my Freshman year in a program called AVID (Helps kids prepare for College and AP Classes, etc.) which I dropped because I was stupid at the time, and Football, which I only played for a year and didn’t go out for my Senior year because I was, once again, stupid at the time.</p>
<p>I’m attending a Community College in California now hoping to transfer to a UC/CSU (aiming for UC though,) because I’m not stupid anymore. However, I see that Extra Curricular activities are quite important. I asked around about the EC’s at the Community College, and got some pretty grim responses, such as: “Hate to break it to you, but this place kind of sucks when it comes to EC’s.”</p>
<p>Exactly how important are ECs?</p>
