ok…is it better to get a recommendation from a math teacher in a community class course or should i jus stick to teachers in my school… also, i got a C- in algebra 2 last year as a final grade due to me being involved in way 2 many activities and sports…i had this class 9th pd and we leave early due to away games…but now i have a B+ avg in geometry and an A minus in precalc…plus im taking even more extra math classes spring and summer semester in college to prepare me for calculus…
( im horrible in math) will the C- affect me? all my other grades have been good but im really worried this will affect my chances

Get a recommendation from those who know most about you, regardless of where they are from. To answer your second question, if your GPA is still high enough then a C- is irrelevant. Also, SAT and/or ACT scores are important.
