First Grade Songs
We have started working on one of our songs for our spring concert on Tuesday, May 16th at 6:00 PM in the high school auditorium. It is “Down By The Bay” and here are the words that we have learned so far:
Down By The Bay
Down by the bay, where the watermelons grow.
Back to my home, I dare not go.
For if I do, my mother will say,
Did you ever see a moose, kissing a goose.
Down by the bay.

very interesting song choice
i still don’t get it though

This reminds me of my thread when I asked where the HS Life forum was.

Well, you eventually found it! Bad choice, wasn’t it?

i still don’t get it
I DONT GET IT I DONT GET IT I WANNA GET IT BUT I DONT

lol I got it but it was fun watching you wonder, spectrum. congrats, lablondie and logisticslord! it was amusing.

drats, i think i might be getting it
is it because of the connection and rhyme? “where is the cafe” and “down by the bay”
if yes, ll, good one.
